New! There is a video to watch of a rehearsal. What works and what doesn't?

New!! The broadcasts have been getting better. It seems like most names are going well. I like how the teams are remembering flag protocols. Mrs. Andras

What makes a good broadcaster? Willing to work hard, not afraid to make mistakes and like what s/he is doing come to mind. We have been working for several weeks and I am seeing lots of growth. The nervousness in front of the camera is almost gone and people are developing leadership skills and helping others on their team. This is why we coach this club.
-Ms. Smith

I agree with Ms. Smith. I also think people should not be afraid to ask for help. Asking for help actually makes you a better newscaster, because the coaches know that you see both your strengths and weaknesses, and work on getting better. I'd rather be asked something lots of times, than to see newscasters making mistakes because they didn't ask.
